A soft hint of Valencia orange, fused with the sharp note of sweet ginger- it may sound like I’m describing cake, but not quite, I’m actually describing the flavour of PROPERCORN’s new seasonal edition popcorn.
I was lucky enough to be sent a box to try. I said yes because I’m forever crunching on their Worcester Sauce and Sun-dried Tomato flavour and I love their no-nonsense ingredients, and I would much rather pick up a pack of these guys than anything with hidden nasties. I also love that it’s popped in the UK.
I think the flavour’s perfect for autumn, and of course Christmas season because it’s guilt free, I mean, who doesn’t want that at this time of year.
The popcorn is vegetarian and gluten free. It’s not vegan, but their Lightly Salted and Salty and Sweet flavours are. You can buy these at Planet Organic or Waitrose.
Personally this is my perfect way to enjoying – Get some friends over, 80’s movies (obviously), popcorn in bowl and drizzle some dark choc on top. Yeah, that’s a popcorn party right there.
They are suitably named, this is Proper corn!
